This Randwick residence began as a beautifully intact Art Deco home, rich with original character yet constrained by a segmented layout and limited natural flow. Our brief was to open the home for contemporary living while honouring its heritage.

We meticulously restored period features — from decorative ceilings to curved cornices and original joinery — ensuring every detail retained the home’s distinctive charm. Walls were reconfigured to create an airy, open-plan heart of the home, seamlessly connecting kitchen, dining, and living spaces to the outdoors.

A carefully curated palette of materials and finishes bridges past and present: modern comforts and light-filled openness layered with subtle nods to the Art Deco era. The result is a home that feels both enduring and relevant — a refined blend of heritage elegance and everyday functionality, perfectly tailored for modern life.
